About
Hilary Gitter
While working at a large Neonatal ICU for many years, it is an honor to help families with a newborn baby bond and become families within our unit. In addition, helping moms with initial steps of lactation and eventually be able to breast feed their baby has been such a privilege. My passion for supporting and encouraging early skin to skin (kangaroo) bonding with babies will always be a priority and I love to share the multitude of benefits for both infants and parents.

My Services
We will go over what to expect with breastfeeding a newborn. We will mainly focus on the first couple weeks of life one.
Every breastfeeding journey is special and unique. Helping to guide families to meet their feeding goals is truly my passion.
Consultations can be virtual or in home (more ideal). Duration approx 2 hrs depending on comfort, need, concerns and any issues that need to be addressed.
We will use a feeding to address and resolve any breastfeeding concerns. Baby's weight will be taken pre & post
Following a Postpartum Consultation, you may find a follow-up beneficial. It builds upon the initial consult.
Going back to work can be stressful. We will make a pumping and feeding plan to help make this transition as easy as possible.
