While working at a large Neonatal ICU for many years, it is an honor to help families with a newborn baby bond and become families within our unit. In addition, helping moms with initial steps of lactation and eventually be able to breast feed their baby has been such a privilege. My passion for supporting and encouraging early skin to skin (kangaroo) bonding with babies will always be a priority and I love to share the multitude of benefits for both infants and parents.

And siblings! Nothing sweeter then seeing the excitement of a big brother or sister meeting their baby for the first time. While helping foster new sibling relationships within my work in the NICUs as well as my 3 own children, ensuring big siblings understand their new role is a joy and vital process that needs gentle care, attention and support.
